Cr12MoV blocks 180 mm thick, vacuum oil quenched with no scale or decarburisation, HRC 61–63; the furnace was exported with the tooling to Mexico.
The 180 mm tooling blocks suffered heavy scale in the salt bath, costing two extra polishing hours per mould.
The JVOQ-105/6612 vacuum oil-quench furnace cools thick sections evenly with 60 ℃ hot oil and inert stirring, while a nitrogen blanket over the oil prevents oxidation.
Built to CE and Mexican supply-voltage standards, delivered with Spanish/English manuals and remote commissioning.
Results
No polishing needed, two hours saved per mould; HRC 61–63 with tool life up 30%, and the furnace shipped abroad without issue.
