Vertical vacuum furnace for marine diesel engine parts
Background and process solution

Marine parts exceed 2.5 m in length; horizontal furnaces are hard to load and gravity causes distortion.

The JVGQV-1500 vertical furnace loads from the top with an electric hoist; three independently controlled heating zones keep ±5 ℃ uniformity even at a 2:1 aspect ratio.

The shell and vacuum set are designed for 6,200 hours a year, with turbomolecular pumps, on-line leak testing and a 2,000-hour maintenance interval.

Results

3.2 t per charge, loading time cut from 4 hours to 50 minutes, unplanned downtime under 24 hours a year.
